dem damaligen Landkreis verliehen vom Innenministerium Baden-Württembergs am 29. Januar 1957, vom 1973 neu gebildeten Landkreis fortgeführt und vom Innenministerium bestätigt am 11. Dezember 1973.
English: the German district of Lörrach,
granted to the former district of Lörrach 29 January 1957 by the Ministery of the Interior of Baden-Württemberg. On 1 January 1973 the district of Lörrach was newly built and continued the use of this coat of arms in legal succession, which was approved by the same ministery 11 December 1973.
